Dear Valued AMD Customer,

We have endured turbulent times in the semiconductor industry over the past two years. The unprecedented Covid-19 supply chain challenges coupled with record semiconductor demand has resulted in broad. well publicized shortages. We managed through this period because of strong partnerships with our customers and suppliers. Thank you for working so closely with us during this time.

AMD has invested to secure capacity to support customer demand. As we look towards 2023, we are glad to report that, through these investments and close partnerships with our suppliers, we are making considerable progress in securing capacity. We nave line of sight to cleaning our open backlog as well as steadily reducing our lead times towards the targets below in 2023. We are happy to share this outlook:

Estimated Xilinx Lead Times

Versal Series (7nm): Standard lead times now

UltraScale+ Series (16nm): Estimated 20-week lead times by end Q2CY23

UltraScale (20nm): Estimated 20-week lead times by end Q3CY23

7-Series (28nm): Estimated 20-week lead times by end Q3CY23

Spartan 6 (45nm): Current conditions continued through 2023.

Remaining Xilinx Mature Nodes: Standard lead times estimated by end Q1 2023

Along with lead time reduction and supply stability, we know that supply continuity is also important. We are happy to say that, in partnership with our suppliers, our 7-series (28nm) products will continue to be manufactured until at least 2035: extending the lifespan well beyond the advertised 15-year life cycle.

Visibility to demand remains key while we rebuild our inventory. Your AMD support teams are here to partner with you to ensure we are set up to maximize revenue growth opportunities for the years ahead.

The investments in our supply chain, along with cost increases from our suppliers, have resulted in the need to increase our prices. Given these circumstances, effective January 9th, 2023, we will be increasing prices by 8% across Xilinx's products except for Versal Series products, which will not get an increase at this time, and Spartan 6 products, which will receive a 25% increase. New prices will apply to current backlog, future orders, quotes, shipments, and to distribution. By taking this necessary step, we will be better positioned to continue close collaboration during the coming year and to ensure you are getting excellent delivery support.

Please contact your AMD sales representative for more details and answer your questions.

We appreciate your business and look forward to your continued partnership.

Sincerely,
Victor Peng
